Divabetic - The View: This entertaining diabetes educational outreach program, showcases local certified diabetes educators and healthcare professionals in the style of the popular daytime television show. Traditional diabetes education messages (food, fitness, daily self-care) are presented using current topics, news headlines, celebrity photos and showbiz gossip to make learning a fun, friendly and upbeat experience. Mr. Divabetic's goal is to encourage people to open up about their experiences living with diabetes and to help empower others to stay healthy. His friendly demeanor and quick-witted banter engages audiences and helps them to discuss the life issues that concern them the most so they gain confidence. Several of his live stage show segments feature familiar TV show game formats making learning fun, entertaining, and educating.
