Bee A DIVA Diabetes Coaching Sessions

Mix, mingle and get motivated at our free two-hour coaching sessions lead by Dana Hariton, Certified Life Coach, and special guest diabetes educators and nutritionists. “Bee A DIVA” provides structure to the conversation and teaches participants how to set personalized and measurable goals to get past ‘burn-out’ and back to feeling like a ‘knock-out.’ Our casual and friendly 'team' approach encourages participants to share their knowledge, experiences, triumphs and concerns about living with diabetes in a comfortable setting.

Participants are challenged to apply one or more of the 4 “Bee A DIVA” Principles – Bee Disciplined, Informed, Visible and Active.

Bee A DIVA Diabetes Coaching Session Schedule 2006

Bee A DIVA Diabetes Coaching Sessions are lead by Dana Harition, a Certified Life Coach who has been successfully managing type 1 diabetes for 25 years. As an athlete she has challenged herself to complete several half and full marathons, climb Mount Kilimanjaro and Machu Picchu and is now currently training for her first triathlon. At Cornell University Dana studied business communications and received her Masters of Arts in Industrial and Organizational Behavior at Baruch College before branching out and developing a private coaching practice. Dana’s goal to help others live happily with diabetes strongly resonates with DIVABETIC’s mission to comfort, connect and challenge.
